Other Activities Involved In: Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP) Triangulum (under Dr. Baezconde) What has been Brianna's favorite Keck class and why? Brianna took HP 450: Traditional Eastern Medicine and Modern Health and it has been her favorite class throughout her time at USC. Although Western medicine works well in most instances, it has its gaps which Eastern Medicine fills. This course reminded her that there isn't a singular way to address health issues. The class showed health from a different perspective which was eye-opening and quite refreshing. (There's also a field trip to a Eastern medicine clinic!) What advice would Brianna give to a prospective student? Brianna would advise a prospective student to try everything that interests them! Don’t worry about its practicality, its role in your future, or the fact that none of your friends share the same interest. You never know where it will take you or who you will meet. It’s better to try than to regret not trying. |
