The thought of interacting closely with children who need special medical attention and making an impact in their lives, is extremely fulfilling and admirable to her. The best piece of advice Kyana has ever received, is that the quality of one's life is determined by the lens you use choose to view it with. She believes that attempting to view all situations with the most positive outlook possible can help to make the best of non-ideal circumstances. While you can't control what life throws at you, Kyana believes you can control the way you respond to that given situation . What has been the most rewarding part of being a Keck student? The most rewarding part of being a Keck student is the tight knit community that the smaller school provides. It helped to make the large university atmosphere feel more personable. Kyana believes that Keck has provided her with countless connections, opportunities, and mentors. The advisors within Keck have also been extremely supportive with career and academic planning. |
